My husband John and I developed this recipe while we were having sugar cravings on the first few days of our RESTART® Program sugar detox! These are called Fat Balls, and they really help with the cravings. Some people like to just take a spoonful of coconut oil, but we found a way to do this that is much more tasty!
- ½ cup coconut oil
- ½ cup sunflower seed butter (you could also use almond butter or any other nut butter except peanut butter)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- Generous pinch salt
- Mix well and use two spoons to form a ball and drop them onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Put in the freezer just long enough for them to harden and not stick together, then put them in a container in the fridge.
- Eat one whenever you have a sugar craving!
